Vaccinations

Woman talking to a doctor.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ProHealth Care providers recommend vaccinations throughout your life to ensure you are properly protected beyond childhood immunization. Shingles, pneumonia, influenza, HPV, hepatitis B and COVID-19 vaccines play a vital role in your ongoing health and can save lives.

While infants and older adults face a higher risk of serious infection or complications from vaccine-preventable diseases, anyone can contract and spread them. Vaccine side effects are uncommon and if they do occur, they are generally far less severe than the diseases they are designed to prevent.

Make vaccination part of your preventive health plan. When you get vaccinated, you protect yourself, your family and those who are unable to get vaccinated themselves.

Vaccines are available during an appointment with your ProHealth Medical Group provider, by walking in to any ProHealth Pharmacy location or select vaccines can be scheduled online.
