The ProHealth Care Foundation has named Kari Davison of Hartland, Kathleen Nonnamaker of Pewaukee, and Steve Nowak of Mukwonago, the 2024 ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer ambassadors.

ProHealth Care’s newly renovated neonatal intensive care unit will open April 9 on the third floor at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The redesigned unit focuses on family-centered care, with fully equipped private patient rooms for parents and babies, including twins and triplets.

A former law enforcement professional experienced a stroke. He was seen in the emergency department at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Imaging of his brain quickly helped determine that he was eligible for an injection of tPA — blood-clot-busting tissue plasminogen activator.

ProHealth Medical Group has announced the addition of pediatrician Rita Gnyawali, MD, to its clinic in Mukwonago. She is accepting new patients.

Kathleen Hemauer, MD, has joined ProHealth Care’s cancer team. Dr. Hemauer completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology and her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is board-certified in both medical specialties.

ProHealth Care plans to expand its services in the Waterford community by building a clinic at the west corner of Highway 36 and Highway 164.
