Internal medicine physicians, or internists, provide primary care for people 18 and older. They are also trained to care for adults with multiple long-term health conditions. Family medicine physicians treat children and adults for everything from routine ailments to longer term conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
As doctors of osteopathic medicine (DO), Dr. Kordick and Dr. Lehmann have received specialized training focused on the muscular and skeletal systems. They provide the same comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services as a doctor of medicine (MD) while emphasizing a holistic approach, treating the mind, body and spirit.
Marcus Perry, MD, is accepting patients at the ProHealth Medical Group clinic located at 2130 Big Bend Road in Waukesha. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his residency at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Illinois.
"My role is to help educate patients about their health so they can make informed decisions," Dr. Perry said. "When making recommendations for treatment options or participation in clinical research studies, I take into consideration the whole patient, including their current conditions and any financial implications."
AJ Emford, MD, is accepting patients at the ProHealth Medical Group located at 717 W. Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. He completed his residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
"I became a primary care physician because I value the bonds and relationships that develop from the continuity of care that exists in family medicine,” Dr. Emford said. "These relationships are important when making medical decisions, as well as when receiving education about preventive health, medical conditions and treatment options."
Christopher Kordick, DO, is accepting patients at the ProHealth Medical Group located within ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital-Mukwonago, at 240 Maple Ave. in Mukwonago. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
"No two bodies are the same, which is why I use a mixture of both traditional and integrative medicine styles in my practice," Dr. Kordick said. "As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, I also specialize in osteopathic manipulative therapy and am interested in sports medicine."
Max Lehmann, DO, is accepting patients at the ProHealth Medical Group clinic located at 195 Discovery Drive in Brookfield. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin affiliated hospitals.
"Being a good listener builds trust and confidence with my patients, which guides me when helping patients navigate their health care journeys," Dr. Lehmann said. "My goal is to treat every person with the kindness and personalized care they deserve, so they may live their healthiest life."
Scott Stauder, MD, is accepting patients at the ProHealth Medical Group clinic located at 13900 W. National Ave. in New Berlin. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
"I aim to connect with patients on a personal level to fully understand their unique backgrounds and work with them to develop a personalized care plan," Dr. Stauder said. "My goal is to encourage healthy decision making and help patients make lasting changes to improve their quality of life."
Patricia Toro Perez, MD, is accepting patients at the ProHealth Medical Group clinic located at N16W24131 Riverwood Drive, along Pewaukee Road just north of I-94. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin-Central Wisconsin in Wausau. She completed her residency at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.
"My patient care philosophy is built around establishing relationships with patients where we work together to create the best individualized care plans to achieve their desired health goals," Dr. Toro Perez said.
If patients require procedures or hospitalization, they can be admitted to ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital, ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital-Mukwonago or ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
