Quality measures reporting

As part of our Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation, we regularly review the quality of cancer care at ProHealth. We analyze our care using:

  • Data compiled from the National Cancer Database, which includes information submitted through cancer registries at all Commission on Cancer-accredited hospitals nationwide.
  • The CoC’s Cancer Program Practice Profile Reports (CP3R), which allow us to compare our care for certain types of cancer to national standards and continually improve our care to support the best outcomes.

Breast cancer: hormone therapy

Hormone therapy is recommended or administered within one year (365 days) of diagnosis for women under 70 with AJCC T1cN0M0, or Stage IB-III hormone receptor positive breast cancer. CoC expected a 90 percent performance rate for this measure.
