Philosophy of care

"I'm looking forward to getting to know all my patients and their families. It's one of the aspects I love most about family medicine. I believe it is imperative for patients to feel informed about their health issues. I want them to feel comfortable approaching me with their questions and concerns. My goal is to keep the communication lines open at all levels of care."

I hate the new check-in machines in the office. Very cold and impersonal. Who wants to use a touch screen that a bunch of sick people have used? Made the whole experience feel like you're not worth the time to have a person check you in. Makes the reception area unwelcoming....like a factory assembly line.

I have been going to dr Knapp for a very long time and love her. She is on top of everything. I hope she never leaves!!

While my physician visit was seamless my lab experience 48 hours prior was poor. The kiosk told me I had an hour and 40 minute wait! I actually waited 40 minutes, I was early but was not seen until 20 minutes after my appointment time came and went. Lab technician was cold - no chitchat, just jab and walk. Very painful blood draw as well.

Dr Knapp is always a great listener to concerns. I needed an appt expedited with a specialist and I was so grateful when I received a call from the specialist's office by the end of the day.
