Philosophy of care

"I am humbled by the complexity of the individual self and different paths to healing. My interactions with patients and the relationships that evolved have taught me more about medicine than any other tool in my formal training. I enjoy partnering with patients to understand their individual needs and believe the healing process lies within each person. My role in facilitating this process is with guidance and support, and striving towards mutual respect and ultimately a therapeutic relationship. The practice of medicine is most successful when we interact with others in the same way we would like ourselves and family to be treated."

Dr Geroulis, with his knowledge of neurological problems, his approachability to easily ask any questions you may have, his giving clear and concise answers to my questions, his fantastic bedside manners, and his fantastic personality, is an outstanding neurologist. I enjoy my visits with him and his team.

Dr. Geroulis does spend time to listen, and seems very interested in what the patient has to say. Focuses a great deal on the symptoms and diagnosis. He does no physical examination. Unless I bring it up we don't discuss if there is any way to address root causes of my condition.

This was my 1st appointment with Dr. Geroulis. It was exactly what I needed. To get to see him, was a nightmare. I had NP who would not, refused to address my concerns. The triage nurse refused for 3 mo. to make this appt., even with 2 referrals from my GP. This dept. needs some serious shake-up/mentoring.

The time I had to wait for an appointment was excessive. I was having a serious condition that needed diagnosis for reocurrent syncope and could not get in to see a provider for 6 weeks,

First time, in a very long time, the blood that was drawn from me was done efficiently and with no bruising at this Sussex ProHealth facility. She was very pleasant to deal with.
