Helping to reduce pain and restore function

Physical therapists receive specialized education in a variety of sciences, including physics, human anatomy and kinesiology (human movement), in order to help patients of all ages move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability caused by disease or injury. They can also help prevent injuries and loss of mobility and motion by developing a fitness routine tailored to each patient's specific needs.
